Warrior Hall of Fame

Here is where we give tribute to those who have physically fallen yet spiritually have risen to help us with the fight.

Not only do we want to showcase those who have moved on, but we also want to focus our attention and efforts on those who are currently battling cancer.

We welcome you all to post pictures and an optional tribute to your warriors.

My name is Crystal Postell. I am a Breast Cancer survivor. I was diagnosed on November 21, 2014. I started getting my mammograms every year since my mother was diagnosed with Cancer several years ago.  She would stay on me and my two sister's about the importance of getting a mammogram done. I am alive today because I listened to my mother. I had been doing my self exams as well. Unfortunately I did not detect any abnormalities. When I went to get my yearly mammogram done in November, 2014. The young lady that done my mammogram came back into the room with a look of concern. I asked her was everything ok, and she said that her boss was looking everything over, and that I would get the results in about a week. Two days later,  I received a call from where I got it done at. They stated that they saw 2 areas in my right breast that they wanted to do a biopsy on. So they scheduled the biopsy for 3 days later. After the biopsy was done it was verified that I had Breast Cancer. Although I was concerned, I never looked at it as a death sentence. I began to research and prepare my body for the fight It was getting ready to have.  I had just lost my mom, dad, step dad, and nephew all within a year. My middle sister had been diagnosed with breast cancer as well about 6 months prior to me, so I did have a lot of support. I had an awesome team of doctors who took very good care of me. I have wonderful family and friends that helped keep my spirits up while I was fighting that fight. I feel so blessed to have my life. I have gone to talk with other breast cancer patients and survivors because I want them to feel empowered,  and to let them know that they have to fight. And that I know how they feel. But to try to stay positive.

Jacqueline Holland, Im truly been Bless, going through other Medical Condition right now. But, I Thank God for Sparing my Life. 66 years old.
